How we work

No mystery process and no six-week strategy retreat. We put the help into the work you already do. People still approve the decisions that matter, especially anything that changes the books.

How an engagement actually runs

Same path whether it’s books help, job-flow cleanup, or something custom for your shop.

  1. Discover

A short call about what’s broken, what you’ve tried, and whether we’re a fit. If we’re not, we say so. Glimpse is a sample of that conversation.

  2. Put it in writing

A simple engagement letter names who’s responsible, how we handle your data, and what “good” looks like in your words.

  3. Scope the job

A written statement of work lists the deliverables, the price, and the timeline. Not a pile of open-ended AI hours. You know the finish line before we dig in.

  4. Deliver

We build it, plug it into your real tools, train your people, and stay long enough that it survives a real workday. You own the stack; keep-us-around support is optional.

Three rules we don’t bend

Everything else can flex for your shop.

We dig before we build

  • Bigger jobs get more homework: how your trade works and where time and money leak. Smaller jobs stay lean. Both stay written.

We don’t stop at advice

  • If a report was all you needed, you wouldn’t need us. We wire the workflow and leave something people can run without calling us every hour.

People make the money calls

  • The software can draft, suggest, and sort. A person still approves the ledger, the filings, and the contract.

Privacy, without the lecture

  • Your data is for your work, not free training material for someone else’s model by default.
  • Access is need-to-know for the people doing the job.
  • Chat is not your books, your job system, or the official record.
  • When public free tools feel too loose, we use tighter setups. The agreement says the work product is yours.

Tell us where it hurts.

We’ll tell you straight whether we can help, and what a real engagement would look like if we can.
